Alicia Sanchez Gym
Alicia Sanchez Memorial Gymnasium

In 2000 we began construction on our gymnasium floor. The floor was donated by Lamco Finishers. The floor is the actual 1999 NCAA championship floor. It took 3 years to complete with the help of faculty, students, parents, and church members. The first game played on the floor was February 2003 with a win over Community Christian School.
History:
UConn, coached by Jim Calhoun, wins the national title with a 77-74 victory in the final game over Duke. Tournament MVP Richard Rip Hamilton scored 27 points and pulled down 7 rebounds for the Huskies. This was a significant victory for the program, as it cemented their reputation as a true basketball power after decades of barely missing the Final Four.
Notable Players who have played on the floor: Richard Hamilton (Detriot Pistions), Elton Brand (76ers), Shane Battier (Houston Rockets).
Alicia Sanchez Memorial Gymnasium:
